Geraldine Bonnetta Coover

Geraldine Bonnetta Coover, 100 years 26 days old, passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2026, in Milwaukie, Oregon.

Born at home September 18, 1926, in Portland, Oregon to George and Margaret Grant. She attended high school in Portland, was a certified ship welder at the Kaiser Shipyard on Swan Island in 1943; later in the 1940’s she was a riveter for the Boeing Plant in Seattle, Washington. She also worked as a long-distance telephone operator. She married Lewis Bryan Coover in 1946 and was an active member of Milwaukie Lutheran Church.

Geraldine is survived by her sons, Paul Coover and Craig Coover; and sister, Donna Gean Archer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Lewis Bryan Coover; and son, Bryan Coover, Esq.
