Our hearts are heavy with profound sadness that we share on August 2, 2026, at 4:56 p.m., heaven gained an angel when Jeffrey Carl Sherwood unexpectedly passed away.

Jeff brought irreplaceable life, laughter, and energy to our world. Everyone loved him simply by being the generous, non-judgmental, compassionate man that he was. He was incredibly smart, possessing a brilliant mind that he brought to everything he did. He was an avid sports enthusiast and his loyalty to his teams was unmistakable. Jeff's love for football, basketball, and baseball was woven into the fabric of his everyday life. A devoted fan who never missed a game, he proudly wore his favorite team cap and shirt to represent the SF 49ers, Oregon Ducks, LA Lakers, and SF Giants. Jeff's favorite retired player on the SF 49ers wore #52. It's with bittersweet tragedy that number shaped his life and ours forever when he was taken from us at the age of 52.

Jeff brought the same dedication and joy to his other passions, becoming one of the best players in the Pokémon community. It wasn't just a game; it was the adventure of it, always hunting for the next catch. He was also immersed in the TikTok community where he brought a contagious smile, wisdom, and creativity to people near and far.

Jeff was a man of his word, a constant protector, a great listener, and a friend to all. Jeff's greatest blessing and our greatest gift was the fierce, unwavering love and unbreakable bond we share as a family that we all helped create.

We love you, Jeff, and we will carry our memories eternally in our hearts. You are our forever #52.

A Celebration of Life will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 26, 2026 at Faith On Hill Church, 3615 SE Hill Road, Milwaukie, OR 97267.
