Patrick Lynch died November 28, 2022, in Milwaukie, OR. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
Patrick was born October 12, 1931, in Inglewood, CA to Andrew and Rosella (Braun) Lynch. He grew up in Southern Oregon and graduated from Medford High School.
In 1950, he joined the Navy and served on the USS Hopewell as a machinist mate during the Korean war. He was honorably discharged in 1954 and decided to further his education. Patrick received a bachelor's degree in Industrial Arts from Long Beach State College and later received a master's degree in History and Mathematics.
He worked as a teacher, counselor, and administrator for 35 years in Oregon and Southern California.
Patrick married Betty Jane Burgess in December of 1968; they were married for 54 years.
He is survived by his wife, Betty; three children; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
His final resting place is Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, Oregon.
