They enjoyed their yearly summer trips down to Arizona to visit their daughter, Nicole, son-in-law, Steve Matcuk, three grandchildren, Alexys, Andrew and Brody Matcuk and granddog, Ripken. Suzanne would also fly down every year on Spring Break to visit them as well. Suzanne loved Pugs as her and Bruce had a beloved Pug, Rose. Prior to Rose they had their Pug, Bailey. They were also fosters for the Pacific Pug Rescue and adopted one of the seven foster Pugs that came thru their home. In later years they enjoyed spending time down at Garibaldi, Oregon at their "beach house" on the bay that was Suzanne's childhood home.
