Hershel Dean Bridges
Obituary
Hershel Dean Bridges of Milwaukie, OR passed away in his home at Albertina Kerr Group Home on May 18, 2023. Hershel was born in Crabtree, AR on 11/25/1950 to Irene (Hoyle) Bridges and Coy Ray Bridges. He suffered an accident at 14 months of age causing permanent disabilities.
Hershel was cared for at home until age 5 when he was placed in the Bridgeview Boy's Home for a short time. He was transfered to the Fairview State facility where he was cared for until the facility was decommissioned. He then was transfered to Pendleton, OR care facility. Then was transferred to Albertina Kerr Care Home where he lived for the last 20 years.
Hershel is survived by his siblings, Steve Bridges, Kay (Bridges) Davis, Joy (Bridges) Lovell and Stan Bridges.
A Graveside Service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 24, 2023 at Zion Hill Cemetery, Rainey Ln., Jerusalem, Arkansas
